Writing software is really silly thing...one has to waste precious days to save couple of milliseconds!!

Mind and Body..

on day before yesterday, at night I couldn't sleep!! I tried but dint succeed...then I searched around for something to read and find one book named "Paths of meditation", I bought it earlier some time from sec-14 market...

I read one definition of meditation and its purpose. I liked it too much so sharing here...Book was containing the explanation of meditation according to different theories...

According to it Body is a tray and our mind and sense is like water filled in that tray and the sun of eternal joy is shining over it. This shining sun can be seen by its reflection on the water.

But our senses never remains calm and this water in the tray is never quiet. It is fluctuating...we can not see the shining sun of eternal joy and peace. Meditation can slow down and probably make quiet the movement of this water in the tray or senses and minds and let us see the shining sun of eternal joy.

શકય હો તો,

શકય હો તો, કર કદી આવી કમાલ
રાખ કોરા પગ અને પાણીમાં ચાલ

એમના ઉત્તરની માણું છું મજા
કયાં હવે છે યાદ પણ મારો સવાલ

હા, વસી છે એમાં ખુશબૂ કોઇની
ના અમસ્તી સાચવી છે મેં ટપાલ

ખ્યાલની ખોટી બધી બાંહેધરી
કોઇ ના રાખે છે કોઇનો ખયાલ

solitude!

Something from one of Kanti Bhatts(one of my favorite..) column in Divyabhaskar...of course not complete and may be moving around what exactly author has said(because of my poor English)....

"Imagination, desires..all is really strange. On one side human being want to be alone but on other side, inside, we want someone to listen to us. ..every body has desires, desire to own good figures in bank, desires to be with dream girl .. Human being is living in controversy : he says I don't have any desires but before completing sentence he had it.

Every body loves solitude at some point..with desire that some loved one takes us away of that..loved one..special one with we can share feelings...we want to fall in the love because we want someone to express our feelings..

We always want something and many times we don't know what? Only truth is we are enticed to something distant which we don't have.."
